Julia Prentice

Julia, a New England native, has a Bachelor’s Degree in Language & Literature. She worked for twenty years as an A.S.L. Interpreter/Teacher/Tutor. She became a Certified Peer Specialist in 2006 in Massachusetts and a WRAP Facilitator in 2007. She later became a Recovery Peer Specialist certified by the Florida Certification Board in 2008. Her job positions have included working on Assertive Community Treatment team, on a clinical team at Magellan Health and in the Sonoma County Behavioral Health department with populations severely affected by mental health issues. In her spare time she loves to sing in choir, knit and crochet and play with her current furry companion. She currently is Secretary of Making Magic Happen – People Helping People, Inc.
