Julia Prentice

Julia, a New England native, has a Bachelor’s Degree in Language & Literature. She worked for twenty years as an A.S.L. Interpreter/Teacher/Tutor. She became a Certified Peer Specialist in 2006 in Massachusetts and a WRAP Facilitator in 2007. She recently became certified as a Peer Support Specialist by the state of North Carolina. Her job positions have included working on Assertive Community Treatment team, on a clinical team at Magellan Health and in the Sonoma County Behavioral Health department with persons seriously affected by mental health issues. In her spare time she loves to sing in choir, knit and crochet and play with her cat. She is the Secretary of Making Magic Happen – People Helping People, Inc.
